Our Mission:
To create meaningful job opportunities and contribute to the rebuilding of our community in the aftermath of the devastating Maui wildfires, helping restore the lives and livelihoods of those who have lost friends, workplaces, and homes.
First diving into the West Maui waters in January 2020, the company expanded after the Wildfires of Aug 8, 2023, destroyed our town and home, nearly all profits were donated to fire survivors in the first few months following the disaster. The following year, we created jobs for those who lost their jobs due to the fire and saw our ‘ohana grow. We continue to donate scuba diving experiences to the community. We also provide funding for reforestation efforts and other community initiatives.
The guiding principle of the company remains the same: give back to the community and provide exhilarating, beautiful, and safe scuba adventures.

Ocean Defenders is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting marine ecosystems through education, conservation, and advocacy. Their work focuses on defending ocean health by promoting reef protection, reducing human impact on marine environments, and empowering communities to take an active role in ocean stewardship. By raising awareness and supporting hands-on conservation efforts, Ocean Defenders helps ensure the long-term protection of our oceans and the life they sustain.
Aloha Maui Diving supports Ocean Defenders by aligning our business with ocean-safe practices and contributing to organizations actively working to protect marine ecosystems. Through this partnership, we help support education, conservation efforts, and advocacy that defend reefs, marine life, and ocean health. Every dive booked with Aloha Maui Diving helps support the ongoing protection of the ocean environments we explore and depend on.
Hawaiʻi’s marine ecosystems are vital to the health of the islands, supporting coral reefs, native marine species, and coastal communities. Absolutely! We emphasize eco-friendly diving practices, including reef-safe sunscreen, no-touch policies for marine life, and proper disposal of waste.
