What is an Intro Scuba Dive?
An intro dive is a beginner-friendly introduction to scuba diving. It allows individuals with no prior experience or certification to scuba dive under the supervision of a certified instructor.
Do I need any prior experience to participate in a Intro Scuba Dive?
No, Intro Scuba Dives are designed for beginners, and no previous diving experience is required. We do require basic swimming skills.
What should I bring for a Intro Scuba Dive?
We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure. We provide all the necessary scuba equipment. Please avoid bringing valuables or precious jewelry/watches. Don’t forget to bring some cash if you would like to show your appreciation for your instructors in the form of tips!
Is it safe to try scuba diving for the first time?
Yes, your safety is of utmost importance to us! Our certified instructors will provide thorough training in shallow water and closely supervise your dive to prioritize your safety and enjoyment. Please consult your doctor before scuba diving.
May I bring my Go-Pro?
No, for safety we do not allow uncertified divers to bring a GoPro, nor is your instructor allowed to use them during the dive. Ask us about our underwater photography/videography packages dedicated to capturing your memories!

What are guided dives, and do I need to be certified to participate?

What's included in a guided dive package?
Guided dive packages typically include dive planning, equipment rental, and the expertise of a dive guide who knows the best dive sites in the area and where all the cool little critters live.
How do I book a guided dive?
You can book a guided dive through our website or by contacting our shop directly. We recommend making reservations in advance, especially during peak dive seasons.
Do we dive off a boat?
No, we specialize in shore diving, which means you can sleep in as we are not bound to the early start times boat dives require. Maui is blessed with beautiful, easily accessible shore dive sites.
It’s been a while since my last scuba dive. What do I do?
No problem, we’ll get you updated and back at it in no time! It is recommended that you take a Refresher course if it has been more than a year since your last dive. eLearning add-ons are required for those who have been out of the water for more than 2 years. Please consult with your doctor before returning to scuba diving.
Can I snorkel while the rest of my party goes scuba diving?
We can arrange that with our friends, Eco Sea Scooters! Call to book.
I lost my proof of certification!
We can try to find it, just give us a call with info on your certification agency, name, and birth date. We might be able to pull your records from the depths of the interwebs.
Can I bring my own scuba equipment for a guided dive?
Yes, you can bring your own equipment if you prefer, but all dives include gear.
